A$AP Rocky Responds To Red Lipstick Controversy

DARK SKIN is not the RIGHT SKIN for red lipstick . . .

According to A$AP Rocky that is. In a interview A$AP Rocky did with The Coveteur last month, A$AP decided to express his thoughts on makeup and women. He stated that he preferred women who didn’t wear any makeup and women who were dark skin should not wear red lipstick.

You girls don’t understand how much you mess up your skin. You can’t help it, but make-up is the worst thing you can do to your skin. I love girls natural, but I don’t mind make-up. There’s nothing wrong with it, there’s really nothing wrong with it. See, guys like us we just like—well me, I only speak for myself, but guys like me, I’m used to normal. I’m used to real. Like yeah, your shit is going to stink, you’re real, you know? You piss, you bleed, you laugh, you cry—you’re human. So makeup is just like an artificial expression if you ask me. When it’s time to get all dazzled up or you’re going out, then fine. I like red lips, it’s fine. I’m going to be real, though: it’s bad for making out, because it gets on the guys. But for real, for me, I feel like with the red lipstick thing it all depends on the pair of complexion. I’m just being for real. You have to be fair skinned to get away with that. Just like if you were to wear like—f*cking for instance, what do dark skin girls have that you know fair skinned girls cant do… Purple lipstick? Naw, that looks stupid on all girls! Purple lipstick, guys! Like, what the f*ck

In efforts to clear up his name and defend what he said, during a recent interview with D.C radio station WKYS A$AP Rocky compared females announcing their annoyance with what he stated to Rick Ross and the Reebok controversy claiming that “black girls are sensitive.” No hunty, women period ! *rolls my eyes*

Black girls just, ah man, went crazy. They just took it how they took it. This is actually my second time talking about it cause I really don’t really look at it as an issue. If people get upset at that I think it’s petty at the same time. It’s like they d*mn near wanna Rick Ross boycott me right now, over some lipstick controversy. Black girls, you know how sensitive they are, but they our sisters man. It is what is man. I come from a black home, so I know how sensitive black women can be. Especially when you talking about they looks or something like that. You can’t say nothing about they glasses, they nails, none of that because then you’re a womanizer or you’re a racist. I don’t know how I’m going to be racist. I have to wake up and look at my black a*s in the mirror everyday. It’s like, what are you talking about? But it is what it is, man. I’m proud to be black

Please child, I done seen Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, anddd Jourdan Dunn to name a few to pull it off sit down ASAP ! Peep the pics below

    1. Yeah its a shame that someone of his caliber would even make a comment as such, when he was on 106 and Park on with a dress it was women who were defending him in his choice of clothing but I digress !
