Tiffany Haddish Ex-Husband Hires Russell Simmons Lawyer To Sue Her

Tiffany Haddish maybe having the best year this year or so we think  . .

The Girls Trip star’s ex husband is set to sue the actress for defamation  and he has secured Russell Simmons’ lawyers, Micheal T Sterling and Carlos Tanner II to do so.

William Stewart was not to thrilled after he read Tiffany’s autobiography The Last Black Unicorn. Stewart claims that the domestic violence Tiffany described in the book is far from the truth. After the book’s release, Williams took to his Instgram to defend himself.

I married Tiffany, her issues, and not the Hollywood lifestyle,” he said in the interview. “I have never beat or hit or called a woman a ‘MF or B’ while having a disagreement ever in my life. I never caused a miscarriage, I have documents to prove this. Tiffany advised me about a month ago about the book and she told me that I would be furious.”

“I’m not gonna try to tear something down that I helped build,” he said. “I just wanna come on this show to tell the truth. I have been seeking legal representation, I don’t wanna bring all the dirt out. Tiffany and I, I believe that we can settle this.

Since, Tiff has admitted that some of the claims in the book were gassed up by her editors. However the claims might not be to far fetched, according to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained the actress actually did file a restraining order in July 2011. In the documents she explained numerous instances of abuse that seem very similar to the stories she told in her book.
