Big Sean’s Hall Of Fame album is gearing up to hit the shelves next week and his latest song “Ashley” (dedicated to his ex, seen in the picture above) has made it’s way on the internet.
Big Sean raps about a previous relationship he once had with Ashley revealing that the good times that they’ve had in the relationship while detailing that even though they were broke, those were the times he felt the richest. But like in most relationships all good things come to an end where in the second verse Big Sean is spilling the TEA on cheating and dealing with his own insecurities. Apologizing for all the mishaps in the relationship, and lies Big Sean owns up to all his wrong doings in their relationship.
Ashley was Big Sean’s high school sweetheart and were dating for six years before they finally broke up earlier this year. Miguel is also featured on the track, listen below
In the midst of all the hype surrounding Big Sean’s “Control” track, Big Sean has put out the visuals for his current single “Beware” off his Hall Of Fame album.
The video directed by Matthew Williams from Kanye West’s DONDA team. The visuals are very much trippy which reminded us of Kanye West’s “Heartless” video (hence DONDA).
Hall Of Fame drops August 27th, watch the video below
Im not saying this to shake you up, Im just saying this to wake you up !
Zamnnnnnn zadddy ! It must be levels to this sh-t because Kendrick Lamar just single handedly annihilated every rapper in the building. Rapper Big Sean released a track titled “Control” which features rapper Kendrick Lamar, in Kendrick’s verse he calls out all of his peers challenging them to step their game all the way up and put more effort into their work.
On the track he calls out names including J Cole, Big KRIT, Wale Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler and Mac Miller. Now of course the context of his lyrics some may see as a diss or feel like Kendrick was throwing shade but in all honesty maybe this is just what rap needed.
I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time
Bout who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y’all
New niggas just new niggas, don’t get involved
I’m usually homeboys with the same niggas I’m rhymin’ wit
But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition? I’m tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5’s with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread

Below we complied a list of response tracks. Who did it the best?
Actress Naya Rivera star of FOX’s Glee and also Big Sean’s girlfriend teamed up with her beau on her debut single “Sorry.” Naya stopped by Power 106 L.A to premiere the track, while her boyfriend surprised her and showed up with a bottle of Dom Pérignon.
On Big Sean’s forthcoming album Hall Of Fame, he admitted that he was inspired by a few exes on his album, I guess Naya was too inspired where her single “Sorry” is some true shade towards Big Sean’s exes. Although Naya isn’t truly sorry she does apologize for bagging Big Sean and falling in love with him. She even goes further as to mentioning names. Oop !
“Amber, Brytni, Tiffany, Sorry he belongs to me /Heather, Ashley, Stephanie it just wasn’t meant to be, Sorry!”
Sean’s ex, Brytni Sarpy, actress and model, recently took to her Twitter page to respond to the song
Naya said that the single is “a little taste of something,” and “it’s definitely part of a bigger collection of songs. I’m working on my album. I don’t want to rush that process. It’s a very personal process.”
Well then . . . do you think Brytni should have responded ? Is the song hot ?
Last month Ariana Grande stopped by Big Boy and The Morning show as she rapped along Big Sean’s Guap and during the interview said it would be a “dream come true” to do a song with him. Well her dream became reality.
After dropping her hit single “That Way” which features rapper Mac Miller, Ariana has released another single Right Here off her album “Yours Truly.” The track features Big Sean, sampling Lil Kim’s “Crush On You.”
Yours Truly hit shelves Sept. 3 and can now be pre-ordered on iTunes.

With her entourage in the studio with her 20 year old Ariana was able to rap just about all the right lyrics, despite a few mumbles Ariana proved that she can hang with the big league. With her single That Way which features rapper Mac Miller and now a snippet of her rapping skills its clear Ariana definitely appreciates Hip Hop.
