In honor of DJ’s Khaled #1 single in the country “Hold You Down”, the producer is celebrating his successes by dropping the remix to his hit single.
Gearing up for his eight album “I Changed A Lot,” DJ Khaled snubbed Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, and Future on the remix for Usher, Rick Ross, Fab and Ace Hood.
Hold You Down is currently the number one urban song in the country, listen below for the remix
After premering DJ Khaled’s latest single “I Wanna Be With You” on Hot 97 featuring Nicki Minaj, Future and Rick Ross, Nicki called in to Hot 97 to talk about the new record, while admitting that DJ Khaled’s recent proposal was an extension of the song. Nicki also revealed that she has been going hard making features on other people’s music and chatted a bit about the rumor of Drake leaving Young Money.
Catch highlights from the interview
Well its safe to the say the ring songstress Nicki Minaj was spotted wearing days after label mate DJ Khaled proposed to her, is in fact NOT the ring he used to confess his love. Despite rumors that Nicki had took out a restraining order against DJ Khaled and that he was stalking her, the two admitted it was all a joke in effort to promote his new single Be With You. She actually thought it was pretty funny and went along with it.
Nicki was spotted flaunting a beautiful diamond ring as she left Crustacean Restaurant with a few of her high school friends. The ring seen in the above picture is a rumored wedding ring that emerged on her finger some time this year. Her longtime boyfriend Safaree, has been wearing a matching gold one which leads people to believe the two are secretly married.
Earlier last week DJ Khaled made a very bold move and decided to propose to label-mate Nicki Minaj on national TV . . . or so we thought. Days later DJ Khaled deemed it was all just a “joke.” Despite the fact that DJ Khaled pulled out a gorgeous 10-karat diamond sparkler valued at about $500,000 it was no way Nicki Minaj would have said yes to this man.
Sitting in front of cameras at the MTV studios, DJ Khaled poured his heart out to Nicki.
I’m gonna be honest, I love you, I like you. I want you, I want you to be mine. I’m at MTV because it’s a worldwide network and I’m not telling you this face to face because I understand that you are busy. I’m [gonna] be honest with you, I wanna marry you. Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?
Khaled also claims that he originally wanted to propose Nicki last year during the music video shoot for his song “Take It to the Head” but things have gotten far better for him since then and he was able to prepare for this day.
We got the same symptons. We both suffer from success (hence his forthcoming album title). You’re out there touring. You’re out there hustling. You’re out there making music. And you’re out there WINNING. I understand. That’s why I feel like you need a man like me in your life that’s gonna take care of you and respect you.
[If] you gotta take your time and think about it, I overstand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me.
Days later DJ Khaled put the idea of marriage to rest and told everyone it was just a joke. Ironically, Khaled’s album Suffering From Success drops September 24th. In a recent interview with Richmond radio host TT Torrez, DJ Khaled admitted he made the proposal video in an effort to promote his new record “I Wanna Be With You” featuring Nicki Minaj, Future, and Rick Ross.
We be so busy making these big hits, I wanted to come with a dope plan to present the next smash record. What’s the saying? ‘Women’s best friends is diamonds?’ I’m just gonna add that diamond to one of my pinky rings or one of my necklaces, you know what I’m saying? You know, I love diamonds too.

Earlier this week DJ Khaled released the visuals for his single “No New Friends” off his 4th studio album Suffering From Success. The track includes Drake, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross and of course Birdman makes an appearance in the video as well. As you all may have seen via social networking sites Drake was the laughing stock of the week with memes of him on set of the video in a Dada outfit that went viral.
The video takes us back in the 90’s where director Colin Tilley recreates scenes from May 1996 of the four artist. Lil Wayne is definitely taking us back to his Hot Boyz days.

Rich Gang has officially released the visuals for Tapout which features Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Future and Mack Maine. The video was shot in Beverly Hills and Miami back in March. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis the video comprises of a bunch of surprise cameos from Kimora Lee Simmons, Paris Hilton, Christina Milian, Bow Wow and DJ Khaled.
Christina Milian and Paris Hilton play as undercover waitresses who ultimately pull off a robbery of diamonds and cash at the private mansion party before slipping a Molly in the owners drink. I wont spoil the whole video but Nicki Minaj looks amazing as usual. The single will be featured on YMCMB’s Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle compilation album, due June 25.
