Looks like another name has been added to the rooster of people who will be featured on Chris Brown’s upcoming album X.
Breezy took his Instagram account to share a photo of him and Ariana Grande rehearsing for the music video. “First time back up en pointe in years,” said the former ballet dancer. “I missed it so much but my toes certainly didn’t #blisters #bloodytoez.” Although the title of the song has not yet been released the two shared some lyrics.
“Dug a single seed into the ground, I hope it grows / In a year or two if you’re around, you’ll see a rose.”
Earlier this month, Chris shot a video for his banger “Loyal” featuring Lil Wayne, French Montana, and Too $hort at Universal CityWalk.
Other names such as Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and Nicki Minaj will be featured on Breezy’s album which hits stores May 5th.
The Cute Little Nugget (as Chelsea Lately called him) aka Kendrick Lamar stopped by “Chelsea Lately” to discuss his verse on Big Sean’s “Control”, Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance, his basketball dreams, and upbringing in Compton.
On his verse K-Dot stated “A lot of cats I named, they’re actually good friends of mine. I basically wanted to show that I’m competitive,” he explained. “That keeps the level of hip-hop alive as far as the culture.” Before hip-hop, Kendrick Lamar had dreams of playing in the NBA. “Before music, I wanted to be Michael Jordan. But like you said, I’m a small guy, I only grew to 5’6″ and it deferred my dreams to actually writing rhymes.”
During The MTV 2013 VMAs Kendrick was included in Miley’s set with Robin Thicke he stated
“It was shocking, very shocking,” said Kendrick of the pop star’s performance. “It didn’t get in the way of what I was doing, but I definitely was interested.”

By now we have heard enough lyrical responses to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s track Control. Rap Up TV caught up with Jhene Aiko, Gilbere Forte, Melody Thornton, and Chanel West Coast at L.A’s Moët Rosé Lounge and asked them their perspective of the verse.
Jhene who is no stranger to Kendick Lamar, working with the rapper on her forthcoming album Sail Out commented,
“I feel like he is one of the best in the world right now, so why not? I think that it’s really dope that he wasn’t afraid to say their names and everybody is trying to be so nice in rap right now… At the end of the day, it’s a competition and that makes it exciting.”
Young Money rapstress Chanel West Coast applauded Kendrick for repping for the West Coast while Gilbere Forte, is gearing up a response of his own he chimed in saying “I think this is Kendrick’s call and response. He wants to see who’s really about hip-hop at the end of the day.”

Im not saying this to shake you up, Im just saying this to wake you up !
Zamnnnnnn zadddy ! It must be levels to this sh-t because Kendrick Lamar just single handedly annihilated every rapper in the building. Rapper Big Sean released a track titled “Control” which features rapper Kendrick Lamar, in Kendrick’s verse he calls out all of his peers challenging them to step their game all the way up and put more effort into their work.
On the track he calls out names including J Cole, Big KRIT, Wale Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler and Mac Miller. Now of course the context of his lyrics some may see as a diss or feel like Kendrick was throwing shade but in all honesty maybe this is just what rap needed.
I heard the barbershops be in great debates all the time
Bout who’s the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y’all
New niggas just new niggas, don’t get involved
I’m usually homeboys with the same niggas I’m rhymin’ wit
But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition? I’m tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5’s with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
